Why the Lizard?

Leaping Lizard wines feature Australia's unique reptile emblem- the magnificent frilled neck lizard. Extending up to a metre in length these dragon-like creatures rear up on powerful hind legs when challenged and display a large, bright frill around their necks.
At times they hiss loudly and charge their foe at high speed. Such is their strength, they have been known to jump over an upright man.
The Leaping Lizard label captures the extraordinary lizard at full stretch. It is strong, bold and unmistakably different to any other creature in the world.
